Donna, who has been with us since 2008, is our church organist and is responsible as well for the senior choir and the bell choir. She is available to play at weddings and funerals.
Donna holds a BA in Music Education with a major in organ from Wagner College and has been a church musician for over 50years. Her experience in various denominations has spanned the UCC Congregational, Lutheran, Episcopal, Baptist, Methodist, Roman Catholic, Universalist and Christian Science Churches. In addition to being an organist she has been the director for adult and children’s vocal choirs and handbell choirs. Involvement in the AGO ( American Guild of Organists, where is is serving as Dean of the Cape and Islands Chapter) and the Handbell Musicians of America, as well as the Music Teacher’s National Association has contributed to her continued education in the music field. In addition to her church position, Donna is on the faculty at the Cape Conservatory as a private music teacher, has volunteered for the past 15years in the Artist in Residence Program at CT Children’s Medical Center sharing music with cancer and post-trauma patients, and is also a volunteer at Cape Cod Hospital.
FAMILY SCHOOL DIRECTOR
Kristen Lind started with us in February, 2014. Driven by a special interest in early childhood education and with a background as teacher, director, and consultant, Kristen assumes her role as an educational facilitator with much ease and views her professional status as a combination of caring for people and possessing such a deeply integrated background in academia.
In coming years Kristen hopes to continue making a positive impact in the lives of those children, which she is inspired to teach by addressing the needs of both her staff and families. She also plans on continually providing exemplary childcare services.
Susan oversees the church office and administrative functions. She is in the office Monday-Friday each week: Monday-Thursday, 9:00 – 2:30 and Friday, 9:00-1:00.
